Product shots for a shop
Lift products off supplier shots and catalog pictures and get the transparent PNG that marketplace listings, banners and ads expect.
Free background remover for Chrome
Right-click a picture on any website, choose “Remove background”, and a transparent PNG of the subject lands in your downloads. The AI cut-out runs on your own computer: no upload site, no watermark, no sign-up, and it works offline.

Also works in Edge, Brave, Opera and other Chromium browsers.

One click on the Chrome Web Store. No account and nothing to set up.
On any website, choose “Remove background” in the menu. A small note on the page shows the progress.
The transparent cut-out is saved to your Downloads folder under the picture's own name plus -no-bg.

Take a diagram, a logo or a portrait off its backdrop and drop it onto a slide or a worksheet without a white box around it.

Take a person or a pet out of a photo for a story, a thumbnail or a sticker, without minutes of masking in an editor.
The cut-out keeps the picture's full width and height. No shrunken free preview.
PNG with full transparency, or WebP for a smaller file. Pick once in the toolbar popup.
The AI model ships inside the extension, so pictures never leave your browser and the cut-out works offline.
A note at the top of the page shows each step and the percent, then confirms the download.
No save dialog. Each file keeps the picture's name plus -no-bg, so it is easy to find.
Cut out as many pictures as you like. Nothing is stamped on the result, and there is nothing to sign up for.
Most background removers are websites. You save the picture, upload it, wait, and download the result, often smaller than the original, sometimes with a watermark or behind a sign-up. Your photo also passes through someone else's server.
This extension skips the trip. It puts an image segmentation model into Chrome itself. When you right-click a picture and pick the menu item, the model finds the main subject (a person, a product, an animal, a logo), keeps fine edges such as hair and fur, makes everything else transparent and saves the file.
The first cut-out after Chrome starts takes a little longer while the model loads. Large photos take longer than small ones.
The AI runs in your browser. Pictures are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Nothing to sign up for. No analytics, no telemetry.
A menu item on images, access to the picture you clicked (it can be on any site), the progress note on the page, downloads to save the result, storage for your format choice.

|---|---|---|
| Where your picture goes | Uploaded to the site's server | Stays on your computer |
| Steps | Save the image, open the site, upload, wait, download | Right-click the image, pick the menu item |

Install the extension, right-click the picture on any website and choose “Remove background”. A transparent PNG of the subject is saved to your Downloads folder.
Cut the picture out with the extension, then insert the PNG into your slide deck or document. The transparent parts show the slide behind it, with no white box.
It's free, with no watermark, no daily limit and no account. The result keeps the original size of the picture.
No. The AI model is built into the extension and runs on your computer. Pictures are never sent to us or to anyone else.
The cut-out itself needs no internet, because the model is inside the extension. You only need a connection to load the picture from the website.
Photos with one clear subject: a person, a product, an animal, a car or a logo. Busy scenes, or a subject the same colour as its backdrop, cut out less cleanly.
Yes. Open the toolbar popup and pick WebP for smaller files, or PNG for the widest support. Both keep the transparency.
The AI model, about 90 MB, has to load into memory first. Later pictures skip that step; large photos still take longer than small ones.
